20 REPLACING THE BURNER ORIFICE (CONT.) 12. Position the heat shield and tighten the jam nut by hand until it holds the heat shield in place. 13. Using a wrench, tighten the jam nut until the heat shield is firmly secured. 14. Apply pipe thread sealer onto the burner inlet pipe. See FIGURE 22. 15. Thread the control box outlet onto the burner inlet pipe and clockwise until tight. See FIGURE 23. Note: Ensure the heat shield is not blocking the pilot hole. See FIGURE 24. 16. Update the label on the bottom of the control box to indicate the fire feature has been converted to operate on propane gas.
