Troubleshooting In rare cases, the camera may not operate correctly due to static electricity. This can be remedied by taking the battery out and putting it back in again. When the mirror remains in the up position, take the battery out and put it back in again. Then, the mirror will retract when the camera is turned on again. If, after performing these procedures, the camera operates correctly, it does not require any repairs. We recommend checking the following items before contacting a service center. Problem Cause Remedy The camera does not turn on The battery is not installed Check if the battery is installed. The battery power is low Replace with a charged battery or use the AC adapter kit KAC50 (optional). 7:3 CD The shutter will not release There is no available space on the SD Memory Card Insert an SD Memory Card with available space or delete unwanted images. Also check the file format settings for the SD1 and SD2 slots. Recording Wait until recording is finished.
