Ensure that the cover is locked with a click. Notes on replacing the battery: • Ensure that the power is OFF before re- placing the battery. • The battery is used by both the camera body and the data function on the DATE model. After the battery is replaced or removed, the time is initialized to 0 00 and ( )bar marks appear on the LCD panel. See page 41 for correcting the time. • The date and no. of exposed frames are memorized and unchanged even if the battery is replaced. 8
