Messages Messages such as the following may appear on the LCD monitor during camera operation. Compression error Compression of the image you captured has failed. Change the quality/size and try again. Alarm was set The alarm is enabled and the camera turns off automatically. No image & sound There are no images/sound on the SD Memory Card or in the built-in memory. Memory card full Built-in memory full The SD Memory Card or the built-in memory is full and no more images can be saved. Insert a new SD Memory Card or delete unwanted images. (p.20, 95) Change the quality size and try again. (p.107, 109) Memory card error Shooting and playback are impossible due to a problem with the SD Memory Card. Try displaying on a PC. Card not formatted The SD Memory Card you have inserted is unformatted or has been formatted on a PC or other device and is not compatible with this camera. (p.112) Card locked The SD Memory Card is write-protected. Only menu operation and mode change are possible. Data being recorded The image is being recorded on the SD Memory Card or in the built-in memory. The protect setting or DPOF settings is being changed. Data being recorded The moving picture is being recorded. Camera cannot play 8 back this image or sound You are trying to play back an image or sound in a format not supported by this camera. You may be able to play it back on another brand of camera or PC. Deleting The image is being deleted. Battery depleted Cannot save image The battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery or replace with charged battery. (p.14) Formatting... The SD Memory Card or built-in memory is being formatted. Image folder could not be created The largest file number has been assigned to an image and no more images can be saved. Insert a new SD Memory Card or format the SD Memory Card or built-in memory.
