4, 5 1, 2 3 Taking Pictures Taking 3D Pictures (3D Image Mode) You can take 3D pictures and view them by the parallel method or cross method. The default setting is [Parallel]. If you print out 3D pictures for viewing by 4 the parallel method and look at them through the optional 3D image viewer, the image will appear in three dimensions. You can also take 3D pictures for viewing by the cross method. Refer to "Selecting the Viewing Mode" (p.56) for instructions on taking pictures by the cross method. 1 Press the four-way controller (3) in Capture mode. The Capture Mode screen appears. 2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select G (3D Image mode). 3 Press the OK button. The screen for taking the first image appears on the left of the LCD monitor. 4 Take the first image. Hold the camera so that the subject is in the middle of the left half of the screen and press the shutter release button. The image appears in the left half of the LCD monitor. The right half of the screen is for taking the second image. 5 Move the camera to the right without changing your stance. 12 04/14/2004 12:00 12 6 Take the second image.
