Sewing on buttons With program 09 you can sew on two- or fourhole buttons without any problems. • Remove the sewing foot and lower the bottom feed. • Place the button on the place marked. • Turn the handwheel towards you and position the button so that the needle enters the left hole in the button. • Now lower the presser foot lifter; the button is now held by the sewing foot holder. • Now sew on the button. Make sure that the needle also enters the right hole in the button. • The machine sews a tack and the program is completed. When selecting sewing help with the "display" key the upper display line shows "lower' i.e. you are reminded that the bottom feed must be lowered. Sewing on buttons with thread shanks • Insert the sewing foot • Place a match between the holes of the button and sew it on as described on the left.
