The light-knit mending stitch is a stretchable covering stitch. It is very suitable for overstitching cuffs in stretch materials, e.g. sweatshirts or 5p0rt5a, Baste over the seam margin to the left. Stitch over the hem from the face side. When doing so, make sure the fabric edge is properly overstitched. • Sew the cuff onto the part with an overlock stitch. • Now the seam allowance can be overstitched from the face side of the fabric.
