English Sound and Volume Controls Individual speakers volume adjustment You can adjust the delay times (center rear speakers and subwoofer only) and volume level for individual speakers. These adjustments let you optimise the sound according to your surroundings and setup. IMPORTANT! Press SURR button on the remote to select Multi-channel surround mode before adjusting the speaker settings. 1 Press Ç to stop playback, then press SETUP. 2 Press 2 repeatedly to select 'Audio Setup Page'. 3 Press 34 to highlight { SPEAKERS SETUP } then press 2. 5 Press 34 to highlight one of the options below, then press 2. { SPEAKERS VOLUME } - Volume level setting for individual speakers (-6dB ~ +6dB). Speakers Volume Setup Front Left Front Right Center Subwoofer Rear Left Rear Right +6dB +6dB +6dB +0dB +6dB +6dB { SPEAKERS DELAY } - Delay times setting in relation to the listening position/distance for center and rear speakers. Speakers Delay Setup Center 0 ms Rear Left 0 ms Rear Right 0 ms SPEAKER SETUP CD UPSAMPLING NIGHT MODE SPEAKER SETUP PAGE SPEAKERS VOLUME SPEAKERS DELAY 4 Enter its submenu by pressing 2. 6 Press 1 2 to adjust the setting that best suit your surround sound needs. 7 Press 2OK to confirm. Helpful Hints: - A 1ms increase/decrease of delay time is equivalent to 30cm change in distance. - Use the longer delay time settings when the rear speakers are closer to the listener than the front speakers. - The test tone will be automatically generated to help you judge the sound level of each speaker.
