The filter prev ent larger remnants of food or other objects from getting inside t he pump. The filter syst em c onsis ts of a coarse f ilter, a flat (Ma in filter) and a micro filter (fine f ilter). 1 Main filter 3 Food and soil particles trapped by t his filter are pulverized by a special jet on the spray arm and washed down to drain. 2 1 2 Fine filter This filter holds soil and food residue in the sump area and prevents it from being redeposit on the dis hes during wash cycle. 3 Coarse filter Larger items, su ch as pieces of bone or glass , that could blo ck the drain are trapped in the coars e filter. To remove t he ite ms caught by t he filter, gently squeeze the t ap on the top of this filter and lift out. Filter assembly The filter efficiently removes food parti cles from the wash water, allo wing it to be re-cyc lated during th e cycle. For best performance and results , the f ilter asse mbly must be regularly. For this reason, it is a good ide a to remove the larger f ood partic les trapping in the filter after each wash cyc le by rinsi ng the filter and cup under running water. To re mov e the filter assembly, pull on the cup handle in the upw ard direc tion. Never run the dishwasher without the filters in place. Th e dishwasher must never be used without the filters. Improper replacement of the filter may reduce the performance level of the appliance and damage dishes and utensils. 1 2 Step１：contrarotate the Fine filter, Step2: lift it up; Step3：lift the Main filter up 3 If do it from step1 to step 3, the filter system will be removed; Reverse operate by placing the main filter ,then screw up the fine filter to finish installation 11
