Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser The rinse aid dispenser has four settings. The recommended setting is on "3". If the dishes st ill ar e not dry ing proper ly or are spotted, adjust t he dial to the next higher number on "4". Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes af ter washing. Reduce it if there are sti ck y whitish s tains on your dis hes or a bluish film on glassware or kni fe blades. Proper Use of Detergent Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remov e dirt, crush dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher. Use only detergent s pecif ically made for use in dishwashers. Keep your detergent fresh and d ry. Don't put powder detergent into the dispenser until you're ready to wash di shes. Detergents There are 3 sorts of detergents 1.With phosphate and with chlorine 2.With pho sphate and wit hou t chlorine 3.Without phosphate and without chloride Normally new pulve rised det ergent is without phosphate. T he water softener f unct ion of phosphat e is not given. In this cas e we recommend to fill salt in the s alt c ontainer even when the hardness of water is only 6 °dH. If d etergents without phosphate were used in c ase of hard water often white spots appear at dishes and glasses. In this case please add more detergent to reach better results. Detergents without chlorine do only bleach a little. St rong and colou red spots will not removed completely. In this case pleas e choose a programme with higher Temperature. Concentrated Detergent Based on their chemical composition, dishw asher can be s plit i n two basic typ es: conventional, alkaline detergents with caustic components low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes The use of "norm al" w ashing programmes in conjunction wit h concent rated detergents reduces pollution and is good for your dishes; these wash programmes are specially matched to the dirt-diss olving propert ies of the enzymes of the concentrated detergent. For this reason "normal"wash programmes in which concentrated d etergent s are used can achieve the same results that can otherwis e only be achieved usin g "heavy" program. Detergent Tablets Detergent tabl ets of diff erent brands dissolv e at different speed s. For this reason some detergen t tablets c annot diss olve and deve lop their full cleaning power during short programmes. T herefore please use long program mes when using detergent tablet s, to ensure the complete removal of detergent r esiduals. Detergen t tablets are o nly for the models with 3 in 1 functio n or 3 in 1 pro gram. 4
