Driving Mode When enabled, alarm and scheduled alarm information is read aloud. 1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ My device tab. 2. Touch ON/OFF next to Driving mode to enable or disable the setting. 3. Touch Driving mode for options: • Message: Read out senders' information when new messages arrive. • Alarm: Read out alarm information when alarms sound. • Schedule: Read out scheduled alarm information when alarms sound. Accessory Settings Configure your device's behavior when it is connected to an optional dock (not included). 1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ My device tab. 2. Touch Accessory for options: • Audio output mode: Play audio through the dock speakers when the device is docked. 150 Accessibility Settings Your device offers features to make using the device easier for those with certain physical disabilities. Use the Accessibility settings to configure these features. 1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ My device tab. 2. Touch Accessibility for options: • Auto rotate screen: Enable automatic rotation of the screen when you rotate the device. • Screen timeout: Set a period of time for the screen to remain lit-after which it will dim and lock. • Speak passwords: Read aloud password information. • Show shortcut: Display a shortcut to Accessibility settings on the Device options menu. (The Device options menu displays when you press and hold the Power/Lock Key.) • Manage accessibility: Choose settings for exporting, updating, and sharing the accessibility settings as a file. • TalkBack: Activate the TalkBack feature and configure options. • Font size: Change the size of the fonts used on the screen. • Magnification gestures: Control whether your device recognizes gestures to pan, and zoom in or out.
