Accounts Settings When you set up accounts on your device, such as your Google Account, Samsung Account, email account, or social networking accounts, you can synchronize information between your device and the account. Types of information you can synchronize include contacts, pictures, videos, and other types of files (options may vary by account type and service provider). You can also set up options for backing up information from your device to the cloud, and back up or reset your device. Add an Account Add an account to your device to share information between your device and the account. 1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ Accounts tab ➔ Add account. 2. Select an account type. Follow the prompts to enter your credentials and set up the account on your device. For more information, refer to "Setting Up Your Accounts" on page 76. Cloud This feature allows you to use your external cloud storage solution to both synchronize your device to your Samsung account and then backup that local content to the cloud. Your device comes with a built-in Cloud storage solution known as Dropbox. Important! This feature requires an active Wi-Fi connection prior to use. 1. Log into your Samsung account and verify it is active. 2. Log into your external cloud storage solution. In our case we are using a Dropbox account. 3. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings ➔ Accounts tab ➔ Cloud. 4. Touch Storage used to display an overview of your total used space. 5. Touch Sync settings, select which device parameters will be synced, and touch Sync now. Choose from: Sync Calendar, Sync Contacts, Sync Internet, and Sync Scrapbook. 6. Accounts Settings
When you set up accounts on your device, such as your
Google Account, Samsung Account, email account, or social
networking accounts, you can synchronize information
between your device and the account. Types of information
you can synchronize include contacts, pictures, videos, and
other types of files (options may vary by account type and
service provider).
You can also set up options for backing up information from
your device to the cloud, and back up or reset your device.
Add an Account
Add an account to your device to share information between
your device and the account.

Select an account type. Follow the prompts to enter

Cloud
This feature allows you to use your external cloud storage
