Speed Dialing Once you store phone numbers to the Contacts List, you can set up to 8 speed dial entries and then dial them simply by touching the associated numeric key. One-Touch Dialing Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 are special One-Touch dialing numbers. You can call the phone numbers stored in your phone's Contacts list and assigned Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 by pressing and holding a single key. Example: For Speed Dial number 3, press and hold until the name and number display on the screen and the number is dialed. Two-Touch Dialing Memory locations 10 through 99 are special Two-Touch dialing locations. Example: For location number 13, briefly press , then press and hold until the name and number display on the screen and the number is dialed. Three-Touch Dialing Memory locations 100 through 999 are special Three-Touch dialing locations. Example: For location number 113, briefly press , briefly press again, then press and hold until the name and number display on the screen and the number is dialed. Quick Search Dialing Use the Quick Search feature to dial any number stored in your Contacts list by pressing the number keys that correspond to the first few letters of a Contact name. For more information, refer to "Quick Search" on page 97. Voice Dialing Your R261 mobile phone includes voice recognition software that lets you dial numbers using your voice. Speed Dialing
Once you store phone numbers to the Contacts List, you can set
up to 8 speed dial entries and then dial them simply by touching
the associated numeric key.
One-Touch Dialing
Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 are special One-Touch dialing
numbers. You can call the phone numbers stored in your phone’s
Contacts list and assigned Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 by
pressing and holding a single key.
Example:
For Speed Dial number 3, press and hold
until the name and
number display on the screen and the number is dialed.
Two-Touch Dialing
Memory locations 10 through 99 are special Two-Touch dialing
locations.
Example:
For location number 13, briefly press
, then press and hold
until the name and number display on the screen and the
number is dialed.
Three-Touch Dialing
Memory locations 100 through 999 are special Three-Touch
dialing locations.

Quick Search Dialing
Use the Quick Search feature to dial
any number stored in your Contacts
list by pressing the number keys that

Voice Dialing
Your R261 mobile phone includes
voice recognition software that lets
you dial numbers using your voice.
