You open a context menu by touching and holding an onscreen item. You can also open an item's context menu by selecting it with the optical joystick and then pressing and holding the optical joystick. 1. Touch and hold the Status bar, then slide your finger down the screen. 2. Tap a notification entry to open the associated application. Note: The Notifications panel can also be opened on the Home screen by pressing and then tapping Notifications. Note: Not all items have context menus. If you touch and hold an item that has no context menu, nothing happens. Using the Notifications Panel The Notification area indicates new message events (data sync status, new messages, calendar events, call status, etc).
