Replacing the Battery If there is a need to replace the pre-installed battery, follow these instructions. Warning!: Do not handle a damaged or leaking Li-Ion battery as this action can result in being burned. 1. Make sure the device is powered off. In a single motion, press down on the cover and slide it away from the lens and then carefully lift the battery cover away from the device. 3. Slide your finger into the removal grooves (1) and carefully remove the previous battery from the battery compartment (2). 7
