Other Operations Deactivating the Buttons on the Main Unit (Child Lock) You can deactivate the buttons on the main unit (except for "/1) for preventing misoperation, such as child mischief. Touch and hold x on the main unit for more than 5 seconds. "LOCKED" appears in the top panel display. The child lock function is activated and the buttons on the main unit are locked. (You can operate the system by using the remote control.) To cancel, touch and hold x for more than 5 seconds until "UNLOCK" appears in the top panel display. Note If you operate the buttons on the main unit while the child lock function is on, "LOCKED" flashes in the top panel display. Controlling Your TV or Other Equipment with the Supplied Remote Control Note When you replace the batteries of the remote control, the remote control setting may be reset to the default (SONY) setting.
