Using a Computer - "First Step Guide" About "First Step Guide" "First Step Guide" is an instruction manual you can refer to on your computer. This "First Step Guide" describes basic operations, from initial hookup of your camcorder and computer and making settings, to general operation the first time you use the software stored on the CDROM (supplied). Install the CD-ROM, read "Installing the software and "First Step Guide" on a computer" (p. 89), start the "First Step Guide," then follow the instructions. About the help function of the software The Help guide explains all software application functions. Refer to the Help guide for further detailed operations after reading the "First Step Guide" thoroughly. To display the Help guide, click the [?] mark on the screen.
