Help Guide How to use Digital Still Camera DSC-QX10/QX100 EV Adjusts the exposure manually. 1. Connect the camera and the smartphone via Wi-Fi, then touch the exposure compensation value and select the desired value. DSC-QX100: Adjusts the exposure manually in a range of -3.0 EV to +3.0 EV. DSC-QX10: Adjusts the exposure manually in a range of -2.0 EV to +2.0 EV. Note You cannot set the EV value when [Intelligent Auto] or [Superior Auto] is set. The exposure compensation value you can see on the screen when shooting is from -2.0 EV to +2.0 EV. If you set the value outside of that range, the brightness on the screen will not change while shooting, but will be reflected in the recorded images (DSC-QX100 only). Hint A: Overexposure (too much light) B: Correct exposure C: Underexposure (too little light) When the image shot is overexposed, adjust [EV] to the minus side. When the image shot is underexposed, adjust [EV] to the plus side. Related Topic 80
