Notes  Do not leave the remote control in an extremely hot or humid place.  Do not drop any foreign object into the remote control casing, particularly when replacing the battery.  Do not expose the remote control sensor to direct sunlight or lighting apparatus. Doing so may cause a malfunction.  If you do not intend to use the remote control for an extended period of time, remove the battery to avoid possible damage from battery leakage and corrosion.  When you remove the battery, the manufacturer of TV you set (page 13) is reset. 9US
