Analog Menus Using the Channel Setup Menu To access the Channel Setup Menu, use the following steps: To Display To Highlight To Select Channel Setup Favorite Channels Cable:On Channel Fix:Off Auto Program Channel Show/Hide Channel Label Press v to highlight an option, then press . Move Select End Favorite Channels Quick access to analog favorite channels Applies to analog channels only. To set up favorite digital channels, see page 31. To set up your analog Favorite Channels list: 1 Use the V or v buttons to highlight the position (1-5) where you want to set a favorite channel, then press . 2 Use the V or v buttons to find the channel you want to add to your favorite channels. 3 Press to select the channel. The TV will automatically change to the selected channel and assign it to the selected position (1-5). 4 Press B to return to the Channel Setup menu or press to exit. Cable Use the V or v buttons to highlight one of the following options, then press to select it. On: Select if you are receiving cable channels with a CATV cable. Off: Select if you are using a TV antenna. ✍ After changing the Cable setting the first time, you will need to run Auto Program. For analog channels, see page 22. For digital channels, see page 31. Channel Fix Not available when in digital tuning mode. Use the V or v buttons to highlight one of the following options, then press to select it. Off: Channel Fix is not set. 2-6: "Fix" your TV's channel setting to 2-6 (VHF/UHF input) and use the cable box or satellite receiver to change channels. Video 1: Select from available video inputs when you have connected video equipment (e.g., a satellite receiver) and you want your TV fixed to it. ✍ You cannot use Favorite Channels, Cable, Channel Show/Hide, or Channel Label when Channel Fix is set. Auto Program Applies to analog channels only. To Auto Program digital channels, see page 31. Perform Auto Program whenever setting up your TV. Auto Program will search for available channels and program receivable channels. 22

To set up your analog Favorite Channels list:

Use the

to highlight the position (1-5) where you want to set a
favorite channel, then press

buttons to find the channel you want to add to your favorite
channels.

Press
to select the channel. The TV will automatically change to the selected
channel and assign it to the selected position (1-5).

to return to the Channel Setup menu or press

Cable
Use the

buttons to highlight one of the following options, then press
to select it.
On:
Select if you are receiving cable channels with a CATV cable.
Off:

Auto Program
