Using the Digital Channels Menu To use the Digital Channels Menu, use the following steps: To Display To Highlight To Select Press v to highlight an option, then press . To set up analog channels, see page 22. To set up digital channels in a Favorite Channels list: 1 Use the --9, and buttons to enter the channel number that you want to assign to the Favorite Channel number. Press to select that channel as a Favorite Channel. 2 To add more channels to your favorites list, repeat step 1. 3 To clear a Favorite Channel, press V or v to highlight the channel you want to clear. Press and then press . To use the digital Favorite Channels list, see page 16. ✍ You can also add Favorite Channels directly to the Favorite Channels list, as described on page 16. Applies to digital channels only. Add Select to add digital channels. Applies to digital channels only. To Auto Program analog channels, see page 22. To move between the Major and Digital subchannel lists, press B or b. 2 To change a channel's setting to Shown or Hidden, press . 3 To show or hide more channels, repeat steps 1 and 2. ✍ Channels that you set to Hidden can be accessed only with the --9 buttons. Allows you to assign labels (such as station call letters) to channel numbers. 1 Press V or v to scroll through the channel numbers. Then press to select the channel number that you want to assign a label. 2 Press V or v to scroll through the label characters (A-Z, 0-9, etc.). Then press to select the highlighted character. 3 Repeat to add characters to the label. 4 To assign labels to more channels, repeat steps 1-2. 5 Press B to return to the Channel Setup menu, or press to exit the menus. 31
