Attaching a key label Attach the key labels to the buttons using the following procedure. 1 Grip the holes on the button sides with the key-top puller and remove the button. Setting the default IP address Simultaneously press buttons 1 and 2, then turn the power on. For details about the IP address setting, refer to the Installation Manual. Resetting the software Press and hold the bottom two function buttons (PROT button and LOCK (CHOP) button by default on the MKSR3210/R1620, PROT button and ENTRY button by default on the MKS-R1630) simultaneously for three seconds or longer. The software is reset, and the unit returns to the same status as when power is first turned on. 2 Grip the slots on the sides of the white button cap with the key-top puller, so that the cap flexes slightly, and remove the cap. 3 Insert the key label, and replace the button cap. 4 Replace the button in its original location. For details about the key-cap puller (part number: 4-592-03601), consult your Sony representative. Configuring Using the Buttons Basic settings of the unit can be configured using the web menu, but the following settings can also be configured directly on the unit. The following items can be set on the unit by turning the power on while pressing a combination of source/destination selection buttons, as described below. Attaching a key label
Attach the key labels to the buttons using the following
procedure.
1
Grip the holes on the button sides with the key-top
puller and remove the button.
2
Grip the slots on the sides of the white button cap
with the key-top puller, so that the cap flexes slightly,
and remove the cap.
3
Insert the key label, and replace the button cap.
4
Replace the button in its original location.

01), consult your Sony representative.
Configuring Using the Buttons
Basic settings of the unit can be configured using the web
menu, but the following settings can also be configured
directly on the unit. The following items can be set on the unit
by turning the power on while pressing a combination of
source/destination selection buttons, as described below.
Setting the default IP address
Simultaneously press buttons 1 and 2, then turn the power
on.
For details about the IP address setting, refer to the
Installation Manual.
Resetting the software
Press and hold the bottom two function buttons (PROT button
and LOCK (CHOP) button by default on the MKS-
R3210/R1620, PROT button and ENTRY button by default on
the MKS-R1630) simultaneously for three seconds or longer.
The software is reset, and the unit returns to the same status
as when power is first turned on.
