mode was enabled and the source selected in chop mode are switched alternately at a specified interval. f Source/destination selection buttons These buttons can be used as source selection buttons or destination selection buttons. The selection type of each button is set using the web menu. When source/destination names are set in the web menu, source (input) selection buttons are lit dim green, and destination (output) selection buttons are lit dim amber. When you press a button, the color changes to bright green or amber to show that the button is selected. Note You can assign both a source and destination to each button. When both functions have been assigned, the buttons function as destination selection buttons if the DEST button is lit amber, or as source selection buttons if the DEST button is lit green. For details about button function settings, see "Web Menu" (page 25). Source selection function (lit green) When you press a button, a source switching request corresponding to the source of the pressed button is sent to the system controller for the currently selected destination. (If the salvo function has been set, the sources set for the button are selected.) If the lamp display mode is set to immediate lighting mode, the pressed button immediately lights up bright green. In status display mode, the system checks that the selected crosspoint has been switched, and then the button lights up bright green. Notes • The source selection button may light up in a color other than green, depending on the [Breakaway] setting in the web menu. • When the PROT lamp is lit, source switching is disabled. For details about button function settings, see "Web Menu" (page 25). Destination selection function (lit amber) When you press a button, the destination corresponding to the pressed button is selected. The pressed button lights up bright amber. g Selector knob When you turn the knob with the DEST lamp lit green, source names appear in sequence in the preset display window. When the DEST lamp is lit amber, destination names appear. You can limit the names available for selection to the following using the web menu. • Sources and destinations can be limited using the Available Source/Destination tables and Control Area (page 26). • To avoid any problem caused by the knob being accidentally pressed, the function that is activated when this knob is pressed can be disabled (page 27). h ASSGN (assign) button/lamp This button has the following two functions: Changing the assignment of a source selection button When a source name is displayed in the preset display window, press and hold the ASSGN button and press a selection button to assign the displayed source name to the pressed button. Changing the assignment of a destination selection button When a destination name is displayed in the preset display window, press and hold the ASSGN button and press a selection button to assign the displayed destination name to the pressed button. On the MKS-R1620, this button (top left button) lights up blue when the beacon function is executed on the system controller. i DEST (destination) button/lamp Switches the selection button mode between source selection mode, destination selection mode, and level selection mode. Press the DEST button to switch between source selection mode and destination selection mode. Press the DEST button in SHIFT state to switch to level selection mode. The lamp color indicates the mode of the selection buttons. Green: Source selection mode Amber: Destination selection mode Red: Level selection mode j Display window The display for a source selection button shows the source name assigned to the button. The display for a destination selection button shows the destination name assigned to the button when the DEST lamp is lit. It shows the source name assigned to the button when the DEST lamp is not lit. 6
