Troubleshooting The setting is reset without the resetting operation. • The battery pack was removed when the power switch was set to ON. When removing the battery pack, make sure the camera is turned off and the access lamp is not lit (pages 18, 53). The camera does not work properly. • Turn off the camera. Remove the battery pack and insert it again. If the camera is warm, remove the battery pack, and allow it to cool down before trying this corrective procedure. • If an AC Adaptor (sold separately) is used, disconnect the power plug. Connect the power plug and turn on the camera again. If the camera does not work after trying these solutions, consult your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility. appears on the screen. • The SteadyShot function does not work. You can continue to shoot but the SteadyShot function will not work. Turn the camera off and on. If the SteadyShot scale continues to appear, consult your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility. "--E-" appears on the screen. • Remove the memory card, and insert it again.
