Radio Reception Labeling the Preset Stations - Index Input You can divide preset stations under index names you create (up to 5 characters). If you want to categorize the preset stations by kinds of music, for example, create indexes such as ROCK, JAZZ, etc. POWER-. ONJ 5 7 6 6 While the MEMORY indicator is on, select memory page. (A, B, or C) 4 3 7 While the MEMORY indicator is on, press the desired number. 1 TUNER 2 Tune in the desired station with Direct, Auto, or Preset Tuning. 3 IN EX 4 Create an index name. c, s2L c. 7 To select a letter or number (1 - 4), press A or V. To change the position, press < or > 5 While the index name is displayed, press MEMORY. MEMOR 8 Repeat Steps 4 to 7 for all other stations you want to assign an index name to. If you want to assign the same index name to several stations Repeat the steps 5 to 7. To correct a previously memorized index name. 1 Press CURSOR MODE INDEX twice so that the index name flashes. 2 Press or V to call up previously memorized index names. 3 Press > or < to move cursor to the desired character. 4 Select the character with 6, or '7. 5 Proceed with the steps 5 to 7 above. To resume the normal mode, press CURSOR MODE INDEX again. Each station can be stored under only one index name If you store an already categorized station under any other index name, only the last selected category will be valid. To display the frequency and index name of preset stations Each time the FREQ/INDEX button is pressed, frequency or index name of preset station is alternately displayed. 18 The MEMORY indicator appears.
