Separate the two halves of the filter. • Take the foam element out of the front half of the filter and • clean or replace it. Knock out both elements or blow out with compressed air from the inside outward. •In case of stubborn dirt: Wash the filter elements in STIHL universal cleaner or in a fresh, nonflammable cleaning solution (e.g. warm soapy water). Dry all parts. • Always replace a damaged filter • element. Reinstall the filter.

Unscrew the slotted nuts

Remove the filter.
