11 Adjusting the Backpack Battery 10.2 Attaching and Removing the Rain Cover WARNING To reduce the risk of a short circuit, which could lead to electric shock, fire and explosion, keep the battery dry. Protect it from rain, water and other liquids. The rain cover is designed to protect the battery from rain during operation. To attach the rain cover: English 10.3 Attaching the Pouch WARNING Never transport metallic, pointed or sharp objects in the pouch. They may bridge the contacts in the adapter and cause a short circuit. To attach the pouch: 2 1 0000-GXX-2814-A0 0000-GXX-2829-A0 ► Unplug the battery from the power tool. ► Make sure the rain cover is dry and in good condition, without any tears, holes or other damage. Never use a wet or damaged rain cover. ► Before starting work in rain or in very damp conditions, make sure that the power tool to be connected to the battery is approved for use in the rain or damp conditions. ► Put the rain cover over the battery and attach it to the frame of the backpack with the zipper. ► Unzip to remove the rain cover after finishing work. Always confirm that the battery and AP Adapter are dry before charging or storing the battery. ► Allow the rain cover to dry before storing. Store the rain cover in a dry location. ► Unplug the battery from the power tool. ► Attach the bag at one of the specified locations on the waist belt. ► Place the AP Adapter (1) in the bag and close the hook and eye fastener (2) to secure it. 11 Adjusting the Backpack Battery 11.1 Positioning and Adjusting the Connecting Cord WARNING To reduce the risk of injury from tripping on the connecting cord or losing control of the power tool, always secure the connecting cord through the backpack guides and with the hook and eye fasteners as described below. Always position and secure the connecting cord so that it will not interfere with the proper working technique as described in the instruction manual for the power tool you are using or your ability to maintain control of the power tool. Attaching and Removing the Rain Cover
WARNING
To reduce the risk of a short circuit, which could lead to
electric shock, fire and explosion, keep the battery dry.
Protect it from rain, water and other liquids.
The rain cover is designed to protect the battery from rain
during operation.
To attach the rain cover:
Unplug the battery from the power tool.
Make sure the rain cover is dry and in good condition,
without any tears, holes or other damage. Never use a wet
or damaged rain cover.
Before starting work in rain or in very damp conditions,
make sure that the power tool to be connected to the
battery is approved for use in the rain or damp conditions.
Put the rain cover over the battery and attach it to the
frame of the backpack with the zipper.
Unzip to remove the rain cover after finishing work.
Always confirm that the battery and AP Adapter are dry
before charging or storing the battery.
Allow the rain cover to dry before storing. Store the rain
cover in a dry location.

Attaching the Pouch
WARNING
Never transport metallic, pointed or sharp objects in the
pouch. They may bridge the contacts in the adapter and
cause a short circuit.
To attach the pouch:
Unplug the battery from the power tool.
Attach the bag at one of the specified locations on the
waist belt.
Place the AP Adapter (1) in the bag and close the hook
and eye fastener (2) to secure it.

cord or losing control of the power tool, always secure the
connecting cord through the backpack guides and with the
hook and eye fasteners as described below. Always position
