When transporting an undamaged and properly functioning backpack battery: ► Disconnect the battery from the power tool and insert the AP Adapter in the pouch. 1 4 ► Unplug the battery from the power tool or charger. ► Remove the cover (1). ► Pass the plug (2) of the USB device to be charged through the opening in the back plate. ► Insert the USB plug in the backpack battery's USB port (3). ► Replace the cover. ► Press the button on the battery. ► Before charging the backpack battery or starting work with a power tool, first remove any USB device connected to the USB charging port. ► Carry the battery on your back or by the handle. ► Never transport the backpack battery in a metal or other container that is capable of conducting electricity, or near metal objects (e.g., paper clips, nails, coins, keys). ► If you are placing the battery in a container or transporting it in a vehicle, secure it and its container against turnover, impact and damage. ► Never sit on or stand on the battery. Charging a USB Device
WARNING
High voltage and excessive charging current at the USB port
may damage the connected USB device. Only charge USB
devices with an input voltage of 5 V and a maximum
charging current of 1.5 A.
To charge a USB device with the battery:
Unplug the battery from the power tool or charger.
Remove the cover (1).
Pass the plug (2) of the USB device to be charged through
the opening in the back plate.
Insert the USB plug in the backpack battery's USB
port (3).
Replace the cover.
Press the button on the battery.
Before charging the backpack battery or starting work with
a power tool, first remove any USB device connected to
the USB charging port.
