21 Inspection and Maintenance ► Set the cutting height to the highest position, 16.1. ► Adjust the handle to the lowest position, 9.2. English ► Clean the area around the cutting blade with a wooden stick, soft brush or damp cloth. ► Connect the spark plug boot. NOTICE Place the lawn mower on a firm and level surface before standing it on end. The lawn mower can topple over while cleaning. To reduce the risk of injury while cleaning, never work directly in front of or behind the unit. Always stand to one side. ► Stand to the right of the device. ► Open and hold the rear discharge cover (1). ► Press the lever (2) down with the left hand and hold it. ► Hold the lawn mower by the transport han‐ dle (3) with your right hand and set it up back‐ wards. NOTICE Cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner or jet water can damage the device. - Do not clean the device with a high-pres‐ sure cleaner. 21 Inspection and Mainte‐ nance 21.1 Inspecting and Maintaining the Lawn Mower The lawn mower is stable and can be cleaned. 20.2 Cleaning the Lawn Mower WARNING ■ To reduce the risk of personal injury from unin‐ tended activation, remove the spark plug boot before carrying out any cleaning work, 6.1. ►

Connect the spark plug boot.
NOTICE
Place the lawn mower on a firm and level surface

topple over while cleaning. To reduce the risk of
injury while cleaning, never work directly in front
