Automatic Playback Speed Selection- Automatically selects playback speed even though the tape has been recorded in SP, LP, or EP(SLP) mode, it will playback at proper speed. Auto Power On and Off system- Automatically turns VCR on as you insert the cassette, then play (Note: safety tab removed), and turns off after autorewind, when reaches beginning of the tape, ejects and shut power off.
