AUTO REPEAT PLAYBACK This unit has an auto repeat playback function that allows you to repeat a tape indefinitely without having to continue to press the PLAY button. • You must use the remote control unit for the following steps. Press PROG. button. 3 If you wish to set Auto Repeat to the off position, Press PROG. button. PROG. ( 1. CLOCK 2. REPEAT ON PROG. 1. CLOCK 2 REPEAT OFF 3. Once you select the repeat play mode, it stays in effect even after you turn off the VCR. REPEAT OFF AUTO REWIND-EJECT When the end of a tape is reached during record ing, playback, or fast-forward, the tape will automatically rewind to the beginning (or to the 0000 counter reading if the memory function is activated), eject, and the VCP turns off. Notes: • This function is operative when Auto Repeat is set to the off position. • The tape will not auto-rewind during timer recording or One Touch Recording. • When tape is rewound to the preset memory position, tape will not be ejected and VCP will not shut off. VISUAL SEARCH You may view the video program at a high speed in either a forward or reverse direction. When in the play mode, press F.FWD button to view the tape at a fast speed in the forward direction. To view the tape at a fast speed in the reverse direction, press REWIND button. The sound will be muted. This feature is useful in finding or skipping over a particular section of a tape. When you wish to view the tape in normal speed, simply press PLAY button. - 22 -

VISUAL
SEARCH
You
may
view
the
video
program
at
a
high
speed
in
either
a
forward
or
reverse
direction.
When
in
the
play
mode,
press
F.FWD
button
to
view
the
tape
at
a
fast
speed
in
the
forward
direction.
To
view
the
tape
at
a
fast
speed
in
the
reverse
direc-
tion,
press
REWIND
button.
The
sound
will
be
muted.
This
feature
is
useful
in
finding
or
skipping
over
a
particular
section
of
a
tape.
When
you
wish
to
view
the
tape
in
normal
speed,
simply
press
PLAY
button.
