MAINTENANCE CABINET CLEANING • Wipe the front paneland other exteriorsurfaces of the unit with a soft doth immersed in lukewarm water and wrung dry. • Never use a solvent or alcohol. Do not spray insecticide liquid near the unit. Such chemicals may cause damage and discoloration to the exposed surfaces. SERVICING • Should your unit become inoperative, do not try to correct the problem by yourself. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Switch power off, unplug the power cord, and take the unit to your nearest Funai Authorized Service Center for servicing. VCP HEAD CLEANING • Picture playback may become blurred or interrupted while the TV program received is dear. This does not mean that the recorded program has been erased. Dirt accumulated on the head after long periods of use, or usage of rental or old tape causes this problem. In this case, head deaning requires highly technical attention, therefore consult the nearest Funai Authorized Service Center. Clean heads only when problems occur. - 25 -
