7 - Analyze function This unit includes an analyze function for use in the unlikely event that trouble should occur. This function allows you to identify the general trouble and resolve it easily without using measurement equipment. Using the analyze function Follow these procedures to use the analyze function. The analyze function can be used from the UTILITY 2 page. 1. Press the MENU button repeatedly to open the UTILITY 2 menu page, and turn the MULTI JOG dial to select the ANALYZE item. 2. Press the MULTI JOG dial to open the ANALYZE screen, which shows the results of analysis. INPUT FREQUENCY This shows the reference input frequency. Analysis results: fps for video and Hz for other items INPUT LEVEL (CG-1800 only) This shows the signal level of the reference input. Analysis results: V TERMINATION (CG-1800 only) This shows the state of the termination resistance of the device at output. Analysis results: OPEN: There is no termination. SINGLE: There is a termination at one location. This is normal. OVER: There are termination at two or more locations. 22 TASCAM CG-1800/CG-1000

7 – Analyze function
This unit includes an analyze function for use in the unlikely
event that trouble should occur. This function allows you to

Using the analyze function
Follow these procedures to use the analyze function.
The analyze function can be used from the
UTILITY 2
page.

Press the
MENU
button repeatedly to open the
UTILITY

menu page, and turn the
MULTI JOG
dial to select the
ANALYZE item.

Press the
MULTI JOG
dial to open the
ANALYZE
screen,
which shows the results of analysis.
INPUT FREQUENCY
This shows the reference input frequency.
