8 - Other functions Setting the termination for reference input connectors Set the termination for each input connector according to the wiring. Make these settings on the TERMINATION page. 1. Press the MENU button repeatedly to open the TERMI- NATION menu page, and turn the MULTI JOG dial to select the input connector for which you want to set the termination. Setting the levels of the word clock outputs You can change the output levels of the word clock outputs. Change these levels on the WORD OUT LEVEL page. 1. Press the MENU button repeatedly to open the WORD OUT LEVEL menu page, and turn the MULTI JOG dial to select the word clock output connectors for which you want to set the level. VIDEO selected 2. Press the MULTI JOG dial to open the TERMINATION XXX screen (" XXX" is the name of the input connector). 1/2 selected 2. Press the MULTI JOG dial to open the WORD OUT LEVEL 1/2 screen. TERMINATION VIDEO screen open 3. Turn the MULTI JOG dial to set the termination for the input connector. Options Video clock input connector: 75ohm (default), OPEN Word clock input connector: 75ohm (default), 50ohm, OPEN GPS signal input connector: 50ohm (default), OPEN 4. Press the MULTI JOG dial to confirm the selection and return to the menu. WORD OUT LEVEL 1/2 screen open 3. Turn the MULTI JOG dial to set the output level of the word clock output connectors. Options: 1.0V, 1.5V, 2.0V, 2.5V (default), 3.0V, 3.5V 4. Press the MULTI JOG dial to confirm the selection and return to the menu. Restoring factory default settings You can restore the various settings saved in this unit's backup memory to their factory defaults. Do this from the UTILITY 1 page. See "Default setting values list" on page 25 for the settings when the unit is shipped new from the factory. NOTE The STARTUP item setting cannot be restored to the factory default. 1. Press the MENU button repeatedly to open the UTILITY 1 menu page, and turn the MULTI JOG dial to select the FACTORY PRESET item. 2. Press the MULTI JOG dial to open the FACTORY PRESET pop-up. 3. Setting the termination for reference

Set the termination for each input connector according to the
wiring.
Make these settings on the
TERMINATION

button repeatedly to open the
TERMI-
NATION
menu page, and turn the
MULTI JOG
dial to select
the input connector for which you want to set the termi-
nation.

screen (“ XXX” is the name of the input connector).

dial to set the termination for the input
connector.
Options
Video clock input connector: 75ohm (default), OPEN
Word clock input connector: 75ohm (default), 50ohm,
OPEN
GPS signal input connector: 50ohm (default), OPEN

Press the
MULTI JOG
dial to confirm the selection and return
to the menu.
Setting the levels of the word clock
outputs
You can change the output levels of the word clock outputs.
Change these levels on the
WORD OUT LEVEL
page.

to set the level.

dial to confirm the selection and return
to the menu.
Restoring factory default settings
You can restore the various settings saved in this unit’s backup
memory to their factory defaults.
Do this from the
UTILITY 1
page.
See “Default setting values list” on page 25 for the settings
when the unit is shipped new from the factory.
NOTE
The
STARTUP
item setting cannot be restored to the
factory default.

Press the

button repeatedly to open the
UTILITY
1
menu page, and turn the
MULTI JOG
dial to select the
FACTORY PRESET
item.
2.
Press the
MULTI JOG
dial to open the
FACTORY
PRESET
pop-up.
3.
Press the
MULTI JOG
dial to execute, or press the
EXIT/
CANCEL
button to cancel.
