2 - TASCAM MX CONNECT Using TASCAM MX CONNECT in demo mode In demo mode, TASCAM MX CONNECT can be tried without an MX-8A unit. Using TASCAM MX CONNECT in demo mode allows users to check the possible settings. NOTE When used in demo mode, MX-8A unit settings cannot be changed. 1. Tap the button. This opens a pop-up menu. 2. Tap the Demo mode button to enable use in demo mode. "DEMO MODE" appears at the top right of the screen when demo mode is active. Screen overviews Selection buttons for each page are shown at the top or right of the screen. The locations of the buttons depend on the size of the window or tablet display. 1 Page selection buttons Tap a page selection button to open that page. The selection button for the open page appears lit. Button PRESET INPUT MIXER ROUTING OUTPUT SETTING EZ CONNECT Meaning This page shows information about the current preset and can be used to set and work with presets. This shows information about the signals being input and can be used to make input settings. Use this page to make mix channel settings. Use this page to assign mixed signals to multiple output channels. This shows information about the signals being output from the analog output jacks and can be used to make output settings. This shows the status of the connected MX8A and can be used to make related settings. Use this page to make TASCAM EZ CONNECT settings. Button Meaning CONTROLLER Use this page to make RC-W100 settings. 2 LOGOUT button Tap this button to return to the login screen. PRESET page On the PRESET page, you can save the current MX-8A settings as a preset and load saved settings. The following settings are saved in presets. oo INPUT page oo MIXER page oo ROUTING page oo OUTPUT page oo EZ CONNECT page oo CONTROLLER page A maximum of 50 presets can be saved. 1 LOAD button This loads the content of the selected preset shown in the Preset Selection field. 2 Preset Selection field Use to select a preset.
