Muting To mute the sound temporarily, press the MUTING button. Press the MUTING button again to restore the sound. Headphones For private listening, first reduce the volume level to minimum. Then insert the plug of your headphones into the PHONES jack, and adjust the volume using the VOLUME knob. The sound from the speakers and subwoofer is cut off while the headphones are connected. < When muting is engaged, "MUTING" appears on the display. < If you change the volume when muting is engaged, the muting will be cancelled. VOLUME Sleep Timer The power can be switched off after a specified amount of time. Press the SLEEP button repeatedly until desired time appears on the display. CAUTION Always lower the volume level prior to connecting your headphones. TO AVOID DAMAGING YOUR HEARING, do not put on your headphones until after you have connected them. ENGLISH SLEEP 90 (60, 30, 20, 10) The power will be switched off 90 (60, 30, 20,10) minutes later. SLEEP OFF The sleep timer is off. < The display is dimmed when you set the sleep timer. < If you want to check the remaining time, press the SLEEP button once. The remaining time will be displayed for 3 seconds, then return to the normal display. 19

Muting
To mute the sound temporarily, press the MUTING

Sleep Timer
The power can be switched off after a specified
amount of time.
Press the SLEEP button repeatedly until desired time
appears on the display.
SLEEP 90 (60, 30, 20, 10)
The power will be switched off 90 (60, 30, 20,10)
minutes later.
SLEEP OFF
The sleep timer is off.

The display is dimmed when you set the sleep timer.

If you want to check the remaining time, press the
SLEEP button once. The remaining time will be
displayed for 3 seconds, then return to the normal
display.
Headphones
For private listening, first reduce the volume level to
minimum. Then insert the plug of your headphones
into the PHONES jack, and adjust the volume using the
VOLUME knob.
The sound from the speakers and subwoofer is cut off
while the headphones are connected.
CAUTION
Always lower the volume level prior to connecting
your headphones. TO AVOID DAMAGING YOUR
HEARING, do not put on your headphones until after
you have connected them.
