Chapter 4  4. 1. Quick Setup Quick Setup wizard allows you to quickly configure your AP device step by step. Choose the suitable operation mode according to your network environment and follow the step-by-step instructions. 1. Visit http://tplinkap.net, and log in with the username and password you set for the AP device. 2. Go to Quick Setup on the top of the page. 3. Select your Region from the drop-down list and click Next. Note: Per FCC regulations, all Wi-Fi products marketed in the U.S. are fixed to the U.S. region. 4. Please select the proper operation mode according to your needs and click Next. Note: You can configure the Access Point mode, Repeater/Bridge mode and Client mode using quick setup wizard. If you want to use the multi-SSID mode, please go to Advanced > Wireless > Basic settings > Global Settings and choose Multi-SSID from the drop-down list of the Operation Mode. 5. Follow the instructions on the page to configure the wireless settings. Click Next. 14

Quick Setup
Quick Setup wizard allows you to quickly configure your AP device step by step. Choose
the suitable operation mode according to your network environment and follow the
step-by-step instructions.
1. Visit
http://tplinkap.net
, and log in with the username and password you set for the
AP device.
2. Go to
Quick Setup
on the top of the page.
3. Select your Region from the drop-down list and click
Next
.
Note:
Per FCC regulations, all Wi-Fi products marketed in the U.S. are fixed to the U.S. region.
4. Please select the proper operation mode according to your needs and click
Next
.
Note:
You can configure the Access Point mode, Repeater/Bridge mode and Client mode using quick setup wizard. If you
want to use the multi-SSID mode, please go to
Advanced

Wireless
>
Basic settings
>
Global Settings
and choose
Multi-SSID from the drop-down list of the
Operation Mode
.
5. Follow the instructions on the page to configure the wireless settings. Click
Next
