I ying in slow-motion • To resume normal playback Press SLOW during playback. Press PLAY. I;o SLOW Each time you pressthe SLOW PLAY R" button, the slow-motionspeed changes. REV SLOW If you press the REV SLOW button during playback, you can view the picture in reverse slow-motion. (Only when using a DVD video disc.) Each time you press the REV SLOW button, the slow-motion speed changes. Resuming playback from the same location 1 Press STOP at the location where you want to interrupt playback. STOP The DVD video player memorizes (_ the location where playback is stopped. 2 Press PLAY. PLAY _ Playback starts from the beginning of the current title. Playback starts from the beginning of the disc. Press PLAY. PLAY The DVD video player resumes playback from the location where you stopped playback. • To start playback from the beginning regardless of the location where you stopped playback 1 Press STOP twice. STOP (_) The DVD video player's memory is cleared • If you want to return to the beginning of a DVD video disc, open and close the disc tray once with the OPEN/CLOSE (1/2) button for the disc you want to play before pressing the PLAY button. Notes • • The DVD video player's memory is also cleared when: you unplug the DVD video player from the wall outlet after you stop playback. -you change the parental lock setting [_ or select a disc menu language [_. -you open the disc tray for a disc which is played. -you switch the discs by pressing the DISC SELECT button • There may be a difference in the location where playback resumes depending on the disc. • Settings you changed using the on-screen displays while the DVD video player keeps a location in the memory may function only after the memory is cleared. 231
