Getting Started Using the computer for the first time 59 Registering your computer Registering your computer lets Toshiba keep you up-to-date with information about new products and upgrades, and also extends your Toshiba warranty worldwide at no charge to you. To register your computer at a later time, select No, I do not want to register at this time. A registration icon appears on your desktop as a reminder to register later. To register your computer, double-click the Registration icon on your desktop and follow the instructions. Once you have registered your computer, you don't need to register again. Setting up a printer If you started your computer with a printer connected and turned on, it may have been detected automatically (Plug and Play). If this is not the case, then you must install the printer driver for the model of printer that is connected to your computer.
