Hardware, Utilities and Options Security lock A security lock enables you to anchor your computer to a desk or other heavy object to help prevent unauthorized removal of the computer. Attach one end of a cable to the desk and the other end to the security lock slot on the left side of the computer. 1.SECURITY LOCK 2.KEY Figure 3-5 Security lock Options You can add a number of options to make your computer even more powerful and convenient to use. The following options are available. Battery Pack An additional battery pack 6 cell type can be purchased from your TOSHIBA dealer. The battery pack is identical to the one that came with your computer. Use it as a spare or replacement. AC adapter If you use your computer at more than one site, it may be convenient to purchase an additional AC adapter for each site so you will not have to carry the adapter with you. USB FDD kit The USB floppy disk drive accommodates either a 1.44 MB or 720 KB floppy disk through connection to one of the computer's USB ports. In use, please be aware that, while you cannot format 720 KB floppy disks under Windows 7, you are able to read and write to disks that have already been formatted. Security lock
A security lock enables you to anchor your computer to a desk or other
heavy object to help prevent unauthorized removal of the computer.
Attach one end of a cable to the desk and the other end to the security lock
slot on the left side of the computer.

Options
You can add a number of options to make your computer even more
powerful and convenient to use. The following options are available.

Battery Pack
