Operating Basics Details To open the Details window, click the Setup Detail button in the TOSHIBA HDD Protection Properties window. Figure 4-14 Details Detection Level Amplification When the AC adaptor is disconnected or the lid is closed, HDD Detection assumes that the computer will be carried and sets the detection level to the maximum for 10 seconds. HDD Protection Message Specify whether to display a message when HDD Protection is active. ■ This function does not work when the computer is starting, in standby, in hibernation, in transition to hibernation, recovering from hibernation, or powered off. Be sure to not subject the computer to vibration or impact while the function is disabled. ■ This function supports only Windows® XP. User's Manual 4-39
