This icon cycles depending on the battery status (empty, low, medium, and full). indicates that the batteries installed are not for use with this phone, remove the batteries immediately. Standby Ringer off icon indicates that ringer is set to Off. Standby Voice mail soft key is used to access the voice mail (you will need to program the voice mail number to use this feature).
