GETTING STARTED Setting the Area Code If you enter a 3-digit area code number in the "Area Code" option, your local area code does not appear in the Caller ID message. When calls are received from outside your local area code, you will see a full 10-digit number. 1) Press menu/clear (or the MENU soft key on the base). Select the Global Setup menu, and then the Area Code #TGC%QFG submenu. 㨫AA 2) Use the number keypad (0-9) to enter a 3-digit area code. If an area code has already been stored, it will appear in the display. Press menu/clear (or the DELETE soft key on the base) to delete the stored code, then enter a new one. 3) Press select/ /audio tone (or the OK soft key on the base).
