note Intercom The intercom feature lets you communicate with another handset or the base without using the phone line. •If the party is busy or out of range, the phone returns to standby mode. •If you receive an outside/intercom call or page while selecting the other handset (or the base), the operation will be canceled. •If you do not select a handset or the base within thirty seconds, the operation will be canceled. •If the party does not answer within one minute, the operation is canceled. •If the party is out of range, Unavailable appears in the display, and the operation will be canceled. •If all handsets and the base are paged, only the first party to answer the page will connect. Making an Intercom Page From a handset 1) With the phone in standby mode, press hold/transfer/int'com. 2) Use volume up/down to select the base or the handset you want to talk with, and then press 6QKPVGTEQO select/ /audio tone. If you select All, all other  * C P F U G V       handsets and the base will be paged. An intercom  * C P F U G V       tone sounds. To cancel intercom, press end. From the base 1) With the phone in standby mode, press transfer/int'com/hold on the base. 2) Use volume up/down to select the handset you want to talk with, and then press the OK soft key. Intercom
The intercom feature lets you communicate with another handset or the base
without using the phone line.
Making an Intercom Page
From a handset
1) With the phone in standby mode, press
hold/transfer/int'com
.
2) Use
volume up/down
to select the base or the
handset you want to talk with, and then press
select/
/audio tone
. If you select
All
, all other
handsets and the base will be paged. An intercom
tone sounds.
To cancel intercom, press
end
.
From the base
1) With the phone in standby mode, press
transfer/int'com/hold
on the base.
2) Use
volume up/down
to select the handset you want to talk with, and then
press the
OK
soft key. If you select
All
, all other handsets will be paged. An
intercom tone sounds.
To cancel intercom, press
transfer/int'com/hold
or the
CANCEL
soft key.
