To delete the entry: From the handset- press menu/clear. From the base-press the DELETE soft key. Use /volume up/down to select Yes, and press select/ /audio tone (or the OK soft key). 5) If you are deleting the entry, you will hear a confirmation tone, and Deleted! appears in the display. If you are editing the entry, follow the steps 4 to 9 under "Storing and Editing Phone Numbers, Names, Distinctive Rings and Speed Dial" on page 41 to complete the editing operation. note Copying Phonebook Locations Copy Phonebook allows you to transfer stored phonebook locations from handset to other handset or from the base to handset (or from the handset to base) without having to manually re-enter names and numbers.
