AM band menu reference Follow the steps below to open the AM radio band menu: 1. If the top of the display does not show AM Radio Band, press the BAND-1/2.5/5W button repreatedly until the display shows AM. 2. Wait for the display to show the AM band screen, then press the MENU button. 3. Refer to the table below for the available options and settings available in the AM band. Menu Option Use It To... Available Settings (default setting is in italics) Lamp Change the operation of the Adjust display backlight Always On Timer (see page 22) Always Off Contrast Adjust the display contrast 10 contrast levels (default = 7) Tuning Steps Set channel frequency steps to the US standard (10 kHz) or European standard (9 kHz) 9 kHz Steps 10 kHz Steps Key Turn the key touch and menu On Beep confirmation tones on or off Off Exit Close the menu Using the FM Band The following features and options are avilable only when the radio is in the FM band. Follow the steps below to open the AM radio band menu:
