ATT Appears when the Attenuator function is set. Indicates the keypad is locked. Appears when the display mode is Alpha Name mode. CTCSS Appears when the Subaudible Tone function is turned on and a CTCSS tone is associated on the display channel. CDCSS Appears when the Subaudible Tone function is turned on and a CDCSS tone is associated on the display channel. 2. Press to start scanning all programmed channels that are not locked out. (SCAN moves across the display during scanning.) 3. In SCAN and WX or SEARCH Mode, press to stop scanning. (HOLD appears on the display.) In Manual mode, press to step up the channel. 4.
