• Saving or deleting a number on one handset will automatically update all other system handsets. Telephone operation Store a directory entry 1. Press MENU/SELECT twice when the handset is not in use. 2. Press or to select >STORE, then press MENU/SELECT. The screen displays ENTER NUMBER. 3. Use the dialing keys to enter the number. • Press MUTE/REMOVE to backspace and erase a digit. • Press and hold MUTE/REMOVE to erase the entire entry. • Press to move the cursor to the left or to the right. • Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause. 4. Press MENU/SELECT to enter the name. The screen displays ENTER NAME. 5. Use the dialing keys (see the Character chart on page 21) to enter the name. • Press MUTE/REMOVE to backspace and erase a character. • Press and hold MUTE/REMOVE to erase the entire entry. • Press to move the cursor to the left or to the right. • Press # to insert a space. 6.
