Power saver feature Products that carry the ENERGY STAR® label are designed to use less energy, help you save money on Utility bills, and help protect the environment. Your Phaser 5400 laser printer is preset at the factory to enter a "low power" state after a specified period of non-use. In this mode, the printer systems are shut down. When a print job is initiated, it will wake up the printer. The recovery time is approximately 30 seconds. The default setting (*) for your printer to enter a power saver mode is 60 minutes. To change the default time setting, follow these steps on the control panel: 1. Press the Menu keys (labeled 1 or 5) to scroll to the System Menu. 2. Press the Item keys (labeled 2 or 6) to scroll to Power Saver. 3. Press the Value keys (labeled 3 or 7) to scroll to the appropriate selection: Off, 15, 30, 60*, 90, 120, or 180 minutes. 4. Press the Enter key (labeled 4). 5. Press the On Line key (labeled 0) to exit the menus. Power saver feature

Your Phaser 5400 laser printer is preset at the factory to enter a "low
