User Safety ■ Place the printer on a level, solid non-vibrating surface with adequate strength for the weight of the printer. It should be within 1° of horizontal with all four feet in solid contact with the surface. The printer weight with consumables is 17.2 kg (38 lb.). ■ Do not place the printer in locations exposed to magnetic forces. ■ Do not place the printer in damp locations. ■ Do not place the printer in locations susceptible to vibrations. Printing Safety Guidelines ■ Wait 10-15 seconds between turning the printer off and on. ■ Keep hands, hair, neckties, etc., away from the exit and feed rollers. When the printer is printing: ■ Do not remove the paper source tray that you selected in either the printer driver or control panel. ■ Do not open the doors. ■ Do not move the printer. The use of unsuitable materials may cause poor performance and a possible safety hazard. ■ Follow all warnings and instructions marked on, or supplied with, the printer, options, and supplies. Caution: Use of non-Xerox supplies is not recommended. The Xerox Warranty, Service Agreements, and Total Satisfaction Guarantee do not cover damage, malfunction, or degradation of performance caused by use of non-Xerox supplies, or the use of Xerox supplies not specified for this printer. Printing Safety Guidelines
Wait 10-15 seconds between turning the printer off and on.
Keep hands, hair, neckties, etc., away from the exit and feed rollers.
